Our Story

Wolf and Nomad is a Miami-based gallery with deep connections to Latin America, New York, and California. We specialize in representing mid-career artists who have significantly developed their body of work and gained recognition over the past decade or more. Many of our artists hail from Latin America, representing a diverse range of countries, including Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, and beyond.

Our mission is to showcase multidisciplinary talent on a global platform through both traditional and innovative exhibitions and events. Our annual schedule includes exhibitions in major cities such as New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Switzerland, and the UK, amongst other locations worldwide.

We take pride in collaborating with various art foundations, fellow galleries, and distinctive art collectives to highlight specific artists and their series in unique settings. Our nomadic approach enables us to engage meaningfully with multiple markets throughout the year, presenting artists to audiences in cities and regions that might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience their work and ideas.

Alongside our exhibitions, we are dedicated to collaborating closely with our clients to enrich their art collections. Our expertise lies in identifying outstanding works of art and offering personalized art advisory services to meet the unique needs of each collector.

As we continue to grow, we look forward to hosting large-scale events, participating in more unique global fairs, fostering collaborations, and welcoming new artists and creative minds into our community.

Our directors

Wolf & Nomad was founded in Spring of 2018 by Asa Wolf & Simon Vargas. Asa Wolf brings with him an extensive background in the arts after years working at Christie's New York, as well as working with non-profit art foundations, and event planning organizations in the arts sector. Co-director Simon Vargas, a lifelong artist, collector and general advocate for the visual arts, brings a deep commitment to cultivating creative communities through both his own practice and his invaluable skills at managing the extensive roster of multifaceted artists within the gallery. Their vision for Wolf & Nomad was to create a platform for emerging and mid career artists across diverse mediums and backgrounds, integrating their work into both traditional and unconventional art spaces.
